One major thing I have learned through the-life-business.com founded by Orrin Woodward is the importance of friendship. I have realized that throughout life we will always encounter new friendships and relationships. Personally I have met thousands of people, even in my short span of living, and have come to notice that only a handful of those people I have met ever stayed in my life for over a decade. Scripture is the best place to turn for guidance on friendship. Proverbs 18:24 says, “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
Since getting started in the-team.biz, friendships are abundant and have become my primary source of fulfillment in life. I have never met more quality, purpose-driven people in any association outside of the team. One of the primary friendships that I am blessed to talk about which has come to develop over the last couple years is with LIFE founder George Guzzardo. Just like many friendships, it starts out as acquaintance and a bit superficial until one gets to know the other. In my case, I have always built a wall up with friends which very few people can break down. Even still, that wall doesn’t come down with many people. But as George began to mentor and guide me in the-life-business, he has learned to slowly break down that wall. That is what real friends do. They are trustworthy, honest, loyal and committed and it is by George’s example that I can learn how to become a true friend to many others. In Luke 6:31 it says, “And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.”
I came across this testimony of George Guzzardo which shows the true heart of this man. George was a former physical therapist and his incredible wife Jill was a director of nursing. Through George and Jill’s association with TEAM and their mentorship with Orrin and Laurie Woodward they have become sought after speakers, mentors and friends in the-life-business. I am truly humbled, honored and blessed to call them true friends for life. Please watch this short video about how the-life-business has impacted George Guzzardo’s life and how it can impact your’s as well.
