About Me

Face Shot

My Creed:

“I do not choose to be a common (wo)man. It is my right to be uncommon. I seek to develop whatever talents God gave me—not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any earthly master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid; to think and act myself, enjoy the benefit of my creations and to face the world boldly and say – ‘This, with God’s help, I have done.’ All this is what it means to be an American.” By Dean Alfange

My vocation is education but my passion is leadership development, serving others and leading people to Truth. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and strive daily to glorify Him in my thoughts, words and actions. I currently reside in North Carolina.

The story of your leadership journey is so inspiring. I am currently an art teacher k-5, special area teachers represent!, and I am in my 5th year teaching. Your success gives me hope and fires me up! I’ve only just begun my own journey and I am thrilled at the new direction my life is taking! Thank you for your inspiration! I look forward to shaking your hand some time soon!

    • Page, you have already done the most difficult part of the journey…starting! I look forward to meeting you soon! ‘Special area’ teachers can do this too 🙂 Lead on!!
